Brews with your Bud: Check out the first brewery that opened in Pacifica, Pedro Point Brewing where you will find a wide range of beers with over a dozen on tap, all brewed on-site. Sign up for their emails or check their Instagram page to see if they have any live music or food pop ups while you are visiting. Another great option is Pacifica Brewery, which makes a wide selection of beers in-house (ranging from modern hop forward beers, traditional lagers, historic farmhouse ales, and experimental, off the cusp things that defy categorization) and offers locally sourced foods.

A Meal with a ViewPuerto 27, is a peruvian kitchen and pisco bar serving traditional Latin American dishes with a modern contemporary twist next door to the Pacifica Beach Hotel. Have a seat on their outdoor patio to enjoy your meal with views of the pacific ocean that both you and your doggo will enjoy.

Work's Over, Time to Run Wild

Off-Leash Fun: Although all four of Pacifica’s beaches are dog-friendly, the only one that is leash-free is Esplanade Beach. This beach is more remote and can be accessed via a trail/stairs on Esplanade Dr. Be sure to check the tides before going as the shore can be very narrow during high tide.

Dog Surfing Competition: In August, the World Dog Surfing Championship takes place on the shores of Pacifica State Beach. Dogs nationwide come out to compete and there are additional dog contests and vendor booths. A portion of the proceeds from this event are donated to dog related non profits.
