Ocean Views and an Amazing Fitness Center: Wake up to the sounds of the ocean at the recently-opened Fairfield Inn & Suites San  Francisco Pacifica, located in Rockaway Beach. Their pet-friendly accommodations include a state-of-the-art fitness center and in-room ocean views. If you are visiting on a Wednesday, be sure to stop by the nearby Farmers Market to discover local treats and treasures!

In-Room Jacuzzis with a View of the Beach: Pacifica Beach Hotel is an architectural landmark overlooking Pacifica State Beach. Guests of this Victorian-style building are treated to ocean views and jacuzzi tubs in most rooms, and an indoor heated swimming pool. Next to the hotel is the ever-popular Puerto 27, a Peruvian kitchen and pisco bar, serving traditional Latin American dishes with a modern contemporary twist.

Get Back to Nature: Sea Breeze Motel is a family-run beachfront hotel on Rockaway Beach that puts you steps away from the beach and hiking trails, including the amazing Mori Point hiking trail. Local favorite Nick’s Seafood Restaurant is located on the same property, and you will be within walking distance of plenty of other local restaurants and shops.

Morning Pick Me Up: Grab a cup of coffee or tea at Soul Grind Coffee Roasters beachfront cafe, accompanied by one of their delicious breakfast items (we recommend the Smoked Salmon Toast). For a special treat, try their signature Cubano latte, a local favorite.

A Pacifica Treasure: Nick’s Seafood Restaurant started off as a sandwich stand in 1927, and since has become a staple in the Pacifica Community. They are open for every meal of the day, and have an extensive menu featuring several seafood specialties, including their popular crab sandwich. After your meal, walk around the corner to relax with ocean views at their lounge and bar that looks like it comes straight out of a movie!

52 Year Old Pub: Grab a pint and some authentic English fish and chips at Camelot Fish and Chips made fresh to order in their trademark batter. Enjoy a variety of beers and wine and for dessert try one of their imported candies or perhaps a deep fried twinkie.

Wine Lover’s Paradise: Sip back and relax a block away from the beach at A Grape in the Fog. Wine lovers can enjoy boutique wines from around the world by the bottle and glass or choose from wine flights, wine cocktails and wine seltzers! Pair your beverage with any of the delicious items on the menu. There is always something new happening at A Grape in the Fog so be sure to check out their event calendar before you go.

Watch the Sunset: To view a picturesque sunset take a short hike out to Pedro Point in Pacifica. This spectacular view point is located on the Bluff Trail in Pedro Point Headlands that tower 600 feet above Pacifica State Beach. In addition to an Instagram worthy sunset, visitors can snap a shot of the variety of wildflowers and species (some of which are endangered) all of which call the Pedro Point Headlands home.

Go For a Round of Golf: Sharp Park Golf Course is a public par 72, 18 hole golf course designed by Alister MacKenzie (designer of Augusta National - home of the Masters Tournament). While golfing, take in the views of the Pacific Ocean, mountains and headlands. The original spanish style hacienda club house is still standing, since being built in 1932, and houses the starter/golf area, lounge, and dining room.

Hang 10: Catch the perfect wave at Pacifica State Beach, known as one of the best surf beaches in the Bay Area. This is a beautiful, mile long, crescent-shaped beach located off the scenic Pacific Coast Highway and is also home to the world’s most beautiful Taco Bell. No need to worry about packing your board, there are a number of nearby businesses that offer rentals.

Relax on the Sand: Pacifica is home to four unique beaches (Pacifica State Beach, Rockaway Beach, Sharp Park Beach & Esplanade Beach) all perfect for lounging with a good book and listening to the sounds of the waves. Conveniently located in close proximity to hotels (some of which are only steps away) and dining options, going to the beach is a great place to unwind before or after your busy day.

Go For A Hike: A great option for all skill levels is Milagra Ridge, as the path is mostly level and paved. Hikers and bikers can take in the views of the city and coastline as they make their way along this trail. The area is also home to several endangered species including the Mission Blue and San Bruno Elfin Butterflies and the California Red-Legged Frog.
